*This form is to be filled out by the stallion owner and returned to the address listed below.

*The Futurity Committee reserves the right or refuse any stallion.

*Bidding will begin at half of the stallion’s current fee or $150, which ever is higher. Proceeds will be donated to the 2006 Nebraska Pinto Horse Association’s Select Sire Futurity Program. Sealed bids will be accepted for any stallion listed on the auction up until the time of the auction. A check for the bid must be included. If sealed bid is not successful it will be returned immediately.

*No “Private Treaty” accepted. Fee must be your usual advertised fee.

* For each service sold at the auction, the stallion owner will receive one select futurity nomination with a get from that same stallion. The owner will have the option to participate in this Futurity, subject to the same rules and conditions as the service purchaser. It will be the stallion owner’s responsibility to make the entry payment as stated in Rules and Regulations.

*In the event that the service does not sell, the stallion owner has the option to sell the service and make full payment to NPtHA within 30 days from Nov. 1, 2004. It must be sold at $150 or ˝ or more of the normal stud fee.( The contract will be sent out upon notice from stallion owner.)

*If the stallion should die, NPtHA will return the service fee to the mare owner. Stallion owner will be responsible to produce a veterinarian’s statement that the stallion is deceased to NPtHA.

* One-Half of the final bid must be paid the day of the auction with the balance due on or before January 1, 2005.

All Parties to this Agreement are Bound to and Agree to all of the Following:

*The mare must be registered PtHA, APHA(DNA on file) or in any approved out-cross registry.
*Mare must be broke to lead and tie.
*Mare must be in good condition and health. Stallion owner may require health papers.
*Stallion owner has the right to call a veterinarian when he deems necessary, at the mare owners expense.
*Stallion owner is to see that mare and foal are properly taken care of at all times while in his/her care.
*Mare owner agrees to pay the board listed above to the stallion owner.
*Mare owner accepts responsibility for contacting stallion owner at time of desired service and must meet all conditions of the stallion owner’s breeding contract.
*All agreements are between the mare owner and stallion owner. Nebraska Pinto Horse Association and the Futurity Committee act as the agent only.


Please send the signed contract to : Glenda Masteller 315 E. Linden Street, Fremont, NE 68025 by October 24,2004. Owners are encouraged to attend the auction to promote their stallion. Stallion owners are responsible for bringing their own fliers and promotional information to the Stallion Auction.
